Six things every quote contains
A number on its own is not a quote. You should be able to see exactly what you are paying for and what happens after launch.
Itemised scope
Exactly what is included, module by module — and what is explicitly not.
Recommended architecture
The stack and structure we propose, with the reasoning behind each choice.
Timeline and milestones
Phases with dates, and what you will be able to see at the end of each.
Pricing and payment schedule
Cost per milestone, plus third-party costs shown separately and honestly.
Infrastructure estimate
Expected hosting and service costs after launch, sized to your real traffic.
Support options
The included support window and what a maintenance plan would cover afterwards.
Why we ask for a budget range
Not to price up to it. Knowing your range lets us propose a scope that is actually deliverable within it — and tell you straight away if what you want needs more, rather than after you have committed.
- We phase delivery so value arrives before the full spend
- We say so plainly when a budget cannot produce something usable
- Third-party costs are listed separately, never buried
Common questions about quotes
Because a fixed price for custom software before anyone has seen the requirement is a guess, and guesses get corrected later through change requests. We give a written, itemised quote after a scoping call, and that quote holds for the scope it describes.
You do not have to decide. Describe your requirement and budget on a free consultation call and we will tell you which tier fits — including when a smaller tier is genuinely enough for what you need.
Usually, yes. Most requirements can be phased so the highest-value part ships first within your budget, with later phases funded once the first is delivering. We will tell you honestly if a budget cannot produce something worth building.
Projects are billed against milestones tied to deliverables you can see and approve, rather than a single payment up front. Retainer and dedicated-team engagements are billed monthly.
Yes. On completion you receive the full repository, deployment runbook and infrastructure credentials. There are no per-seat licence fees on software we build for you.
Hosting and any third-party services you use, billed by those providers directly, plus an optional maintenance plan. We size hosting to your actual traffic rather than defaulting to expensive infrastructure.
